SPOT MARKET MODEL

The basic principles of the CEGH Gas Exchange Spot Market of Vienna Stock Exchange

  • CEGH Gas Exchange of Vienna Stock Exchange use existing GlobalVision Exchange Trading SystemSM IT-infrastructure and -knowledge of Vienna Stock Exchange.
  • Trading takes place anonymously, i.e., the counterparty is not displayed on trading screen to the market participant, nor disclosed on the trade confirmation.
  • European Commodity Clearing AG (ECC) is providing clearing services and therefore take the counter party risk and process the financial settlement of traded products.
  • For the physical settlement CEGH Gas Exchange of Vienna Stock Exchange will use existing hub operator and OTC know how and IT-infrastructure of Central European Gas Hub AG.
