EEX CEGH Gas Exchange volumes increase by 50% in June 2020 to 19.2 TWh - a new all-time high!
- 2 TWh were traded on the EEX CEGH Austrian Gas Market, a new all-time high and 50% more than in June 2019
- 736 GWh were traded on the EEX CEGH Czech Gas Market, an increase of 25%
- 6 TWh were nominated at the CEGH VTP in June 2020 – an increase of 12.5% compared to last year
The nominated gas volumes at the CEGH VTP reached an amount of 64.63 TWh in June 2020, an increase of 12.5% compared to June 2019. In total, 430 TWh were nominated in the first half year of 2020, an increase of 20% compared to 2019.The Churn Rate was 4.04, and CEGH had 256 members by end of June.
EEX CEGH Austrian Gas Market:
19.22 TWh of natural gas were traded in June 2020 on the EEX CEGH Austrian Gas Market. This is an increase of 50% compared to last year, and a new all-time high for the Austrian Gas Exchange Market.
The EEX CEGH Spot Market recorded a volume of 7.0 TWh. On the Futures Market, volumes more than doubled compared to June 2019 and reached the all-time high of 12.22 TWh.
EEX CEGH Czech Gas Market:
On the EEX CEGH Czech Gas Market, traded volumes in June 2020 amounted to 0.74 TWh, a plus of 25% compared to last year. On the Spot Market, 443 GWh were traded and on the Futures Market 293 GWh.
By the end of June 2020, 35 companies were registered on the EEX CEGH Czech Gas Market.
