<\/h2>\n                <ul>\n<li><strong>CEGH VTP recorded 59.78 TWh of nominated volumes in January, representing a 24% increase year-on-year.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>EEX CEGH Market Austria achieved 49.07 TWh, marking its second highest monthly volume since March 2022 and a 49% rise compared to <\/strong><strong>January 2025.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>EEX CEGH Czech Gas Markets posted 5.08 TWh, delivering a strong 153% year-on-year increase.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>CEGH VTP:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nominated gas volumes on the CEGH VTP reached <strong>59.78 TWh<\/strong>, a significant <strong>increase of 24%<\/strong> compared to January 2025!<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> churn rate<\/strong> was <strong>4.6<\/strong> (the churn rate is a measure of liquidity and indicates how many times a MWh of natural gas is traded before it is finally physically transferred).<\/p>\n<p>Per end of January, CEGH had<strong> 373 registered members.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>EEX CEGH Austrian Gas Market:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In January, <strong>49.07 TWh<\/strong> were traded on the EEX CEGH market in Austria, an <strong>increase of 49%<\/strong> compared to January 2025 and the second-highest volume since March 2022!<\/p>\n<p><strong>18.80 TWh<\/strong> were traded on the <strong>Spot Market<\/strong>, an <strong>increase of 33%<\/strong>, and the <strong>Futures Market<\/strong> recorded an exceptional volume of <strong>30.41 TWh<\/strong>, an astonishing <strong>increase of 62%<\/strong> compared to the same month in 2025 and again, the second-highest traded volume since March 2022!<\/p>\n<p>Per end of January, <strong>233 members<\/strong> were registered on the Austrian EEX CEGH Gas Market.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>EEX CEGH Czech Gas Market:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A total of <strong>5.08 TWh<\/strong> were traded on the EEX CEGH Czech Gas Market this January, the third highest volume since March 2022 and an <strong>increase of 153%<\/strong> compared to the same month in 2025!<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Spot Market<\/strong> accounted for <strong>3.8 TWh<\/strong>, the highest volumes since November 2022 and an <strong>increase of 122%<\/strong> compared to January 2025!<\/p>\n<p>On the <strong>Futures Market<\/strong>, <strong>1.28 TWh<\/strong> were traded, which is an i<strong>ncrease of 330%<\/strong> compared to the same month last year!<\/p>\n<p>Per end of January, <strong>99 companies<\/strong> were registered on the EEX CEGH Czech Gas Market.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn--primary\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cegh.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/CEGH-Result_2026-01.pdf\">Results January 2026<\/a><\/p>\n\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n                <\/div>\n                        <\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n    \n        ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":34,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"content-type":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[61],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1404599","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-monthly-press-release-cz"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>CEGH records impressive start to 2026 with significant volume growth across all markets!
