Futures trading rose to 216.96 TWh, up 26.7% compared to 2024.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>EEX CEGH Czech Market: Trading volumes amounted to 36.15 TWh in 2025, marking a 3.4% increase year-on-year.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>CEGH GreenGas Platform: Traded volumes rose significantly from 87 GWh in 2024 to 115 GWh in 2025, while memberships increased by 84%.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, CEGH made significant progress in supporting the decarbonization of the energy industry. The CEGH GreenGas Platform recorded strong growth, with steadily increasing membership numbers and the distinction of being the first platform to offer Green Hydrogen<br \/>\nproducts.<\/p>\n<p>Gas trading in Central Europe remained robust despite the halt of Russian gas transit through Ukraine. Sufficient liquidity proved crucial in supporting trading members and customers, while ensuring market stability in a challenging environment.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, CEGH celebrated its 20th anniversary \u2013 a major milestone not only for the company itself, but also for the energy markets in Central and Eastern Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n<p><em>CEGH extends its sincere thanks to all customers, partners, and supporters for their continued trust and valued partnership.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>CEGH VTP:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nominated gas volumes at the CEGH VTP reached <strong>553.82 TWh<\/strong> <strong>in 2025<\/strong> despite a challenging market environment.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>average churn rate in 2025<\/strong> amounted to<strong> 4.64<\/strong>, reflecting solid market liquidity. The churn rate <strong>peaked in<\/strong> <strong>September at 5.46<\/strong>, indicating a particularly high level of trading activity (the churn rate measures liquidity by showing how many times a MWh of natural gas is traded before physical delivery).<\/p>\n<p>By the end of December 2025, CEGH counted <strong>373 members.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>EEX CEGH Austrian Gas Market:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the EEX CEGH Market Austria, a <strong>total volume of 371.08 TWh <\/strong>was traded<strong> in 2025<\/strong>, representing a <strong>3.5% increase<\/strong> compared to 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Of this volume, <strong>154.12 TWh<\/strong> were traded on the <strong>Spot Market<\/strong>, while the <strong>Futures Market<\/strong> recorded an impressive <strong>216.96 TWh, marking a<\/strong> <strong>27% year-on-year increase<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>CEGHIX<\/strong> reached its highest level in 2025 on <strong>11 February, at 60.542 EUR\/MWh<\/strong>, while the lowest value was recorded on <strong>10 December, at<\/strong> <strong>29.649 EUR\/MWh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>By the end of December 2025, <strong>232 members<\/strong> were registered on the Austrian EEX CEGH Gas Market, representing an <strong>increase of 38 members<\/strong> compared to 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>EEX CEGH Czech Gas Market:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the EEX CEGH Czech Gas Market, a total of <strong>36.15 TWh<\/strong> were traded in 2025, representing a <strong>3.4% increase<\/strong> compared to 2024. The <strong>Futures Market<\/strong> contributed <strong>11.16 TWh<\/strong> to this volume.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Spot Market<\/strong> recorded trading volumes of <strong>24.99 TWh<\/strong>, reflecting a <strong>strong 26.5% year-onyear increase<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>By the end of December 2025, <strong>97 companies<\/strong> were registered on the EEX CEGH Czech Gas Market, representing an <strong>increase of 12 members<\/strong> compared to 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>CEGH GreenGas Platform and CEGH GreenHydrogen Index:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Committed to the decarbonization of the gas industry, <strong>CEGH<\/strong> further expanded its <strong>CEGH GreenGas Platform<\/strong> by enabling the posting of <strong>green hydrogen offers<\/strong>, becoming the <strong>first platform to offer Green Hydrogen products.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The platform counted <strong>118 registered members<\/strong> in 2025, representing an 84% increase in membership.
