Volumes on the EEX CEGH Futures Market in CZ reached nearly 20 times the volume of August 2025!

- EEX CEGH Czech Gas Market: 4.31 TWh traded, an increase of 128% compared to August 2025!
CEGH VTP:
In August, nominated gas volumes on the CEGH VTP increased by 2.8% compared to August 2025 to 43.26 TWh, with a churn rate of 5.22 (the churn rate is a measure of liquidity and indicates how many times a MWh of natural gas is traded before it is finally physically transferred).
By the end of August, CEGH had 376 registered members.
EEX CEGH Austrian Gas Market:
August saw the EEX CEGH Austrian Gas Market achieve a trading volume of 20.97 TWh.
The Spot Market contributed 9.3 TWh, while the Futures Market accounted for 11.67 TWh.
By the end of August, 244 members were registered on the market.
EEX CEGH Czech Gas Market:
The EEX CEGH Czech Gas Market traded a total of 4.31 TWh in August, an increase of 128% compared to the same month last year.
The Spot Market contributed 2.94 TWh (up 61.6%), and the Futures Market registered 1.37 TWh, nearly 20 times the volumes of August 2025!
By the end of August, 111 companies were registered on the market.
